Simparica Chewables for Dogs - How it works?

Simparica Chewables Flea and Tick Treatment for Dogs work by quickly entering your pet's bloodstream, where the active ingredient, sarolaner, gets to work. Sarolaner targets the nervous system of fleas and ticks by inhibiting the function of the neurotransmitter gamma aminobutyric acid (GABA) receptor and glutamate receptor, and works at the neuromuscular spot in insects such as fleas and ticks, causing paralysis and death. This rapid action ensures effective elimination of existing fleas and ticks and prevents new infestations.

Note: Please consult your vet before buying this product. Dogs with a history of seizure should only be treated after consulting a vet.
